Carry
On is a group of friends who have all been
affected by cancer in some way and absolutely,
positively want to do something about this
terrible disease. In addition, we are all
avid soccer fans and have played and enjoyed
the sport most of our lives.
Carry
On, Inc is a Nonprofit Organization* created
for two simple reasons:
1.To raise significant funds to support
the fight against Pediatric
Cancer
2.To provide the best youth 3 v 3 soccer
tournament in the Chicago area

Ryan

Ryan received his undergraduate degree from Purdue University and his MBA from the University of Chicago. He has worked for both Fortune 500 companies and start-ups and is currently with Hospira - a global specialty pharmaceutical and medication delivery company driven by its vision of Advancing Wellness™. He started Kicks 4 Cancer in 2003 with Steve Scherrer as a way to honor his father who passed away in 1996 from Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia.

Mark received his undergraduate degree from Southern Illinois University and his MBA from the University of Chicago. He is the Product Engineering Manager at American Fluorescent, working to bring energy efficient lighting products to market. |

| Katrina works as an Account Manager for AON Risk Services, Inc. She has been involved in various benefit organizations in the past. Katrina joined Kicks 4 Cancer in 2007 as a volunteer focusing on Fundraising for the Event and the “34 Campaign”.

| Karen lives in the Crystal Lake area with her husband and their three sons. She has worked the past 10 years for the Cancer Institute at Alexian Brothers Hospital Network. Karen obtained her Bachelor’s degree from DePaul University and a MS from Benedictine University. She has focused her efforts for many non-for-profit organizations in past years supporting a variety of causes.

Steve received his undergraduate degree from Benedictine University and his J.D. and master's degree from Indiana University. He is now a partner in the Intellectual Property Department of McDermott, Will & Emery, an international law firm with a diversified business practice and offices in Boston, Brussels, Chicago, Düsseldorf, London, Los Angeles, Miami, Milan, Munich, New York, Orange County, Rome, San Diego, Silicon Valley and Washington, D.C. |

| Tom Vosberg holds a BBA from Loyola University of Chicago where he majored in marketing and was a member of Loyola's soccer team. After college, he continued playing soccer while living in Rome, Chicago and Minneapolis. In 2006, Tom was inducted in the Peoria Area Soccer Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Tom and his family live in Crystal Lake and he works for DS&P Insurance Services, Inc. in Palatine. As a volunteer for Bear Necessities, Tom joined the Kicks4Cancer team in 2006 to give back to the soccer community and to honor his friend, Mike McLaughlin, who died of cancer at a young age. |
